Rosa Parks Safe House Dedication

On the occasion of Mrs. Parks' arrest, December 1, 1955, her personal safety was of great concern. In honor of that period in our history, H.H. Leonards, President and CEO of the O Street Foundation, who was a friend and hostess to Mrs. Parks, has designated one of her properties as the Rosa Parks Safe House. The Dedication Prayer Breakfast will be held December 5, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. at 2020 O Street near DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C.
